FWIW,
I did much searching when I built my airplane to find light weight hydraulic hoses that were not off the chart expense wise.
There is a company in California called Baker Precision (bakerprecision.com) that makes very nice stainless over teflon 3000 psi assemblies for a very reasonable price. My whole airplane was around $125 if memory serves. Their least expensive line is a straight line with an aluminum aircraft female nut on the end. I did not weigh the entire set but I estimate it was 1/3rd the weight of the stuff lancair shipped with the kit 20 yrs ago...
They have worked flawlessly...

All parts were ordered from A/C Spruce which does offer quantity discounts for these parts.

9 feet---       303-4 Aeroquip hose 1/4"     (allows some extra for measuring error)
28 each--    491-4 Aeroquip hose fittings
1 gallon--    09-27100 Aeroshell Brake Fluid

Pg 123 of the Spruce 2006/2007 catalog has installation instructions for the 303 hoses and 491 fittings.  Use your old hoses for measuring new hose lengths.  You will quickly discover why the long-neck tapered half-inch punch is useful.  Using high pressure air, oxygen or CO2 after the hoses are finished will remove loose debris before installation.
