To all,
I forgot to state this on the first post, but have tried the oil at various levels. 6-7 quarts seem to make the engine happy, but I still get a lot
on the belly and dripping after engine shut down.

Start with less oil? Seriously, I rarely have more than 10 qts on the dip stick on the IO-520 in my C206 because it does the same thing.
