I am now down to my last good one. I have always "safely removed usb device" and unplugged the usb cable from the computer before removing the card from the usb card reader. I have also always turned off all of the power to the Chelton before removing or installing the cards into the Chelton System. This has worked generally worked well and the cards have survived for a year or so. But now I am down to my last one. They are becoming very hard to find. The last one I purchased was $49 and now they are $99 on line. Does anyone know where to get SM cards for a better price? I also know that that another user modified XD cards to work in the Chelton. Is there any update on this "shade tree mechanic" solution? Thanks, Bryan J. I have three SmartMedia = SM cards 128MB that are used for updating the Chelton = system.  I am now down to my last good = one.  I have always “safely = removed usb device” and unplugged the usb cable from the computer before removing the card from the usb card reader. I have also always turned off all of the power to the Chelton before removing or installing the cards = into the Chelton System. This has worked generally worked = well and the cards have survived for a year or so.  But now I am down to my last one.  They are becoming very hard to find.  The last one I purchased was = $49 and now they are $99 on line.

Does anyone know where to get SM cards for a better = price?

I also know that that another user modified XD cards = to work in the Chelton.  Is there any update on this “shade tree mechanic” = solution?

Thanks,
