I spent lots of time during my initial test flights 8 years ago trying to debug this problem. Finally, somebody suggested that the problem maybe flexing of the 'cup' section (leading edge) of the ailerons. Solution: add a half-moon rib in the middle of the aileron 'cup' section, similar to what was installed on the flaps. Result: no more buzzing after this fix, completely eliminated. A number of other Lancairs developed this problem and the solution was to stiffen the leading edge of the ailerons. And yes, this is NOT flutter coz flutter would have ripped your ailerons off your wings and you would have been unable to fix this problem...
