 Reminds me of when my dear old dad used to make me call him before and after
 each flight. Finally I started asking him to call me after every commercial
 flight he went on explaining that his risk was so great, that he didn't even
 know the pilot or airplane condition.  I would quiz him on the
 landing(bouncy or smooth, turbulent to the nth degree. He finally got the
 drift.
