After all the testing, cell phones don't cause explosions, static does, most commonly from women's panty hose BUT young people almost always cause a fire MORE than older people because older people grab on the car to help them get out - whereas young people jump out and no static is discharged. They said the number 1 most important thing you can do is touch your car (or wing) and the ground before even touching the pump. Interesting but makes perfect sense. Matt
