Extra $$$, extra weight, extra complications (fuel, dirty, etc).  I think a
battery, if it can do the task intended, is cheaper, cleaner and easier.

Why not consider a small 1000 watt Honda Inverter/Generator.  It will
run all night on a small amount of gas.  It is a recommended item on the
Reiff website.  You could even take it with you in the airplane for use
at other airports.  They weigh about 25 lbs.
