You don't thing that at 2 am on Sunday morning the wives may have wanted
to know that their husbands had flown somewhere and had not come home on
schedule? And after the fact there had been an accident that some basic
preliminary information may have been helpful?
Have you ever gone on a search and rescue mission, found the accident
site, hiked to the area and had people die in your arms that if you had
only made it there a few hours earlier they may have been saved? Well,
I have and I can say it is not an experience that I want to repeat.
I don't care if it is your wife, your dad, your mechanic, or your best
friend, or flight service, but I would hope someone may know of your
flying intentions before you go out so that you could be found if
necessary. Hey everyone is looking for a good airplane salvage. The
parts and radios could possibly be used.
