It will run all night on a small amount of gas. It is a recommended item on the Reiff website. You could even take it with you in the airplane for use at other airports. They weigh about 25 lbs. My local airport is, literally, 1 mile from my house. But there are no hangars and no electricity anywhere near the tiedowns. The closest airport with hangars is 40 minutes away. I'd like to rig up a battery - something I can carry in my car - to hook up to something like this the night before I fly. That way, when I arrive in the winter AM, the darn thing isn't 25 degrees. I was thinking the smallest, cheapest, lightest, system. Any thoughts? Would a 35lb battery keep it warm all night? If I used a deep cycle battery would I be able to charge it numerous times without killing the battery? Thanks, Matt -- For archives and unsub http://mail.lancaironline.net/lists/lml/
