On a related note - Would it be possible.
My local airport is, literally, 1 mile from my house. But there are no
hangars and no electricity anywhere near the tiedowns. The closest airport
with hangars is 40 minutes away. I'd like to rig up a battery - something I
can carry in my car - to hook up to something like this the night before I
fly. That way, when I arrive in the winter AM, the darn thing isn't 25
degrees.
I was thinking the smallest, cheapest, lightest, system.
Any thoughts? Would a 35lb battery keep it warm all night? If I used a
deep cycle battery would I be able to charge it numerous times without
killing the battery?
Thanks,
Matt
