I have had a TT DFC 250 with the strong servos for about three years and have
had consistent and reliable performance in my IVP. As you state, when I did
have questions or issues (during the installation and initial flight stages) I
found the TT people to be responsive, knowledgeable and cooperative. Compared
to the performance and support I got from STec, the manufacturers of the
plane's first autopilot, my TruTrak is superior in every way.

Dear Lancair Builders/Owners,
my name is Wolfgang Meyn and I built an F1 Rocket during the last 4 ½ years.
The airplane flew for the first time in August 2007 and has accumulated over 100 hrs. since then.
I live in Cloudcroft, NM and fly out of KALM.

Talking airplane and avionics specifically the subject of autopilots and continuous trouble
with the performance of my TruTrak Sorcerer came up.
After describing some of the reoccurring vertical and roll steering problems Dave Link mentioned
that unreliable/unpredictable performance of TTs units is a problem the Lancair community has encountered too.
My repeated attempts to solve the problems together with Trutrak have been to no avail.
Everybody at TT has been extremely supportive but the blame for most of my problems has been pushed primarily towards my installation.
