Electronics International MVP-50. I have one in the Epic LT. Robust and reliable. Very easy to change parameters for limits and program in general. Easy to grab all the engine data with a USB memory stick. It has annunciators that diplay when anything is out of limits. I believe that I could eliminate the Lancair's or the Epic's annunciator panel completely and rely on the MVP-50. =20 They were terrific help in setting up the instrument initially and with the follow-up. I had a transducer fail and they sent me a new one immediately, not waiting for the failed one to be returned. They respond to phone and email. Vision Microsystems 1000. I have a VM1000 in the Lancair IVP. Not quite as reliable and have had to run 3 wires drilled through the firewall and not try to replace the ones through the firewall connector. The fuel pressure transducer intermittently shows 0 fuel pressure. I have had to retighten the transducer connections into the CPU on several occasions and tighten the connects on the transducer. This has "cured" the problem for quite a while and then it returns. The ammeter sensor failed and was replaced. An EGT probe failed. Tech support is very responsive, when you finally get through on the phone. Always knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. =20 My VM1000 does not have engine data logging. I wish that it did. The new ones do now log. Mine is not upgradeable. In doing the GAMI lean test, the temperature steps are too large to be really accurate. In spite of that, I do have a smooth running engine 70 degrees lean of peak.=20 Carl Cadwell LancairIVP 950 hours Epic LT 240 hours
