   Like Jim, I recently heard from Avemco (after responding to a free quote
mailer they'd sent me) that they wouldn't insure any homebuilts over $200K
in value.  I asked what it would cost for a $200K policy with their highest
payouts and was told $5200 a year, but that they wouldn't recommend I use
them, as my ES would be underinsured.
   In light of the ES's excellent safety record, I found this a bit hard to
swallow.  I was hoping to use Avemco for my first flying policy, as I'm not
aware of anyone else that provides coverage for the first 10 hours.  Is
anyone else aware of another carrier that will?
