Yeah, gee I always wondered how those aerobatic planes with wings symmetric about the chord line were able to fly.  Uh, maybe AOA contributes something to lift, maybe.

 

As to props that look like wings - it is interesting to see the thrust/air flow 90 degrees to the plane (geometric) of the rotating prop.  I was going to say "as it screwed its way thru the air" but I realized that the electric fan in my hangar is not screwing anything.
