Here is a picture of three of the four brake line options. I do not have a picture of Tim's (Lancair) solution.
As I recall, DHI does not offer a significant discount for volume orders. Also, each plane may have slightly different hose length requirements. IMHO, you would be better off ordering direct.

On the left is the infamous Nylaflow with the optional (but common) kink installed.
Disadvantages:
Poor chemical resistance
Poor mechanical strength
Cold flow with age
Becomes brittle with age
Finite service life
Poor abrasion resistance
Poor crush strength
Poor heat tolerance
Becomes brittle with cold temperatures
Low modulus
Compression fitting
Requires chafe guards and frequent inspection
Advantages:
Cheap
Light
In the middle is the DH Instrument DH400 hose assembly. Construction is a urethane liner with three braids of Kevlar and a urethane over jacket. See: http://www.dhinstruments.com/prod1/ft.htm
Disadvantages:
Heavier than Nylaflow
More expensive than Nylaflow
Single source supply
Advantages:
Half the weight of braided stainless
Small diameter (0.19")
20,000 PSI burst
0.9" bend radius
Good chemical resistance
Good UV and O3 resistance
Wide temp range without derating
High modulus
No age limit
Factory swaged fitting
Pressure tested
On the right is the dash 3 stainless with dash 4 hose ends.
Disadvantages:
Heaviest option
More expensive than Nylaflow
Abrasive outer jacket
Large diameter
Lower modulus than DHI
Meat hooks (Ouch!!)
Advantages:
8,000 PSI burst
1.5" bend radius
Best chemical resistance
Best UV and O3 resistance
Widest temp range without derating
No age limit
Factory swaged fitting
Pressure tested
Free replacement if you order the wrong length (if ordered from Sacramento Sky Ranch)
