If you are building an experimental aircraft, then you are the safety Tsar. If you do not like that responsibility then go fly a certified bird. It has been deemed safe by the government appointed head safety Tsar, the FAA Administrator. All this call for a safety Tsar is well and good till the safety Tsar declares you or your bird unsafe. Then you will be posting complaints about the safety Tsar being a partisan hack, using the position to direct business to certain vendors and CFIs and stifling innovation. Regards, Hamid
