I installed the trim and flap indicators provided by Ray
Allen. Hopeless is far too kind a word to use as in the Lancair it is impossible to read
them. Ignoring night, when smart animals don’t fly, the only place for
them is in the dark behind the instrument panel, which means installing a
sequence of mirrors to read ‘em. That would be appropriate given flying
is done with smoke and mirrors anyway.
Are there any decent and readable in well lit
conditions indicators on the market?
