On landing, after a flight of several hours, the engine will die at idle power on roll-out unless I leave the low boost pump on all the way to the hanger. On the other hand, the engine continues to run at very low rpm even though the mixture is at idle cutoff until I switch off the boost pump. Is this a quirk, or common?
