I installed it after climbing IFR and while on top climbing through 17K the engine started to surge badly to the point where I had to pull power back to about 15 in. Looked for a hole in the undercast and I was looking for a place to land then I went over all engine gauges and discovered the Low Boost wasn't on. That light has been invaluable since. I never forget it now. I had Lancair Avionics install one. I think it was designed/made by Brent Regan?
