  Registration number N117BG is a Lancair 360 with a Lycoming IO360A1A,
manufactured by and registered to one William O. Greenhaw of Union Grove AL.
The airworthiness certificate was issued less than 2 months ago on 11/29/06.
  
  It is sad to see a brand new plane destroyed like this, but it is much 
better
that it happened on the ground than in the air. There are many possibilities
of what could have gone wrong, but without more facts it would all be
speculation.
