Don't leave us hanging (so to speak), what was the vib from?

 

Duh.  Interference between the upper cowl and the left induction tube.   Power related apparently because induction tube moves with MP.....slightly.

 

Have started tuft testing.  Inboard tufts are not as quiet as outboard ones.  Stall progresses nicely from in to out but rolls off with no flaps.   experimentation with stall strip location and angle tamed dirty stalls but not clean.  Should have put that belly camera on so I can see those underwing tufts.

 

Looking at leading edge contour now.
