I have not seen a single time where he has been dishonest or untrustworthy. My two cents says that a man with so many irons in the fire that takes his valuable time to keep many of us from making fatal mistakes should be regaled as a hero. My situation is no different from many who have not received their pinpoint GADAHRS, though they have paid in advance. If I must take a look at who is responsible, I look in the mirror. I wrote the check and put my faith in another individual who for whatever reason has not fulfilled his obligation--- my problem, no one elses. In most purchases I make I do not pay in advance for anything but it seems the aviation industry has some magic that makes me lose track of my common sense. I have no knowledge to base any opinion upon with regard to D2. Every contact I had was positive and informative. Reserving comment until the facts are in can be maddening and doesn't get our Cheltons in the air but it is the right thing to do. It appears that there are many who are attempting to make things work with minimal expense. D2, to their own credit, found a flaw in a Crossbox system that in their estimation was not acceptable. After many attempts to have the issue corrected, their evaluation was that it still was a flawed piece of equipment. Pinpoint was viewed as a solution to the problem --- a solid instrument with no history of failure. This was an expense that perhaps D2 should have passed on to its customers rather than taking the high road and trying to do it in-house, at their expense. Let's see where it goes and make decisions that fit our individual needs and meet our own safety criteria for flight. Brent, I for one would hate to see you stop your contributions and support your absolute right to privacy. Thank you.
