If you are interested in a prop de-ice unit you can contact me at maurits@vravionics.com, we have one that has a pilot selectable dual mode cycle( hi duty  or lo duty, cycles are fully programmable) or auto when OAT is hooked up  It monitors current draw etc and has a annunciator  light ( gives you a failure warning  on a boot failure) and  communicates with EFIS.
Being used by a four blade turbo prop aircraft.
