Several times I have broken parts on my Bose X (closed the canopy on them once, ripped the cable out once...). Each time Bose has repaired for free and overnighted them back to me at their expense. Never anything but spectacular professionalism... As for comfort - they are very good. I am tempted to try some earbud style headsets - over-the-head models puts such a crimp in my follicly challenged hairstyle! Matt
