That is exactly what I do also Fred. The only time I use the boost pump is for priming. Two switches. One red for high, one yellow for low. Red used for priming. Never have used low above 10,000'.

I fly a norm. aspirated LIV and never use the pump, hi or lo for takeoff or landing. It loads up the engine and causes it to die - not desirable.
