Kirk Hammersmith recommended using separate switches for high and low boost.  His reasoning was you didn't want to accidentally kick on high boost in flight and flood the engine.  I have high boost in red, low boost in yellow, separate switches.  I've never used the low boost (knock on wood), and the high boost gets used for priming only.
