Alan:

Its nice to have options.  Why not wire a double throw center off switch to have high boost, off.  and low boost.  Then you just take power from the High side to a push on, momentary contact switch for priming.

BTW, I have a new shiny M/C switch that I'm not using and  you are welcome to it.
