If you want to reply directly to the person whose message appears on the LML without posting your reply in the open to the group at large, all you need to do is copy/paste the original sender's email address into the "To:" box of your email program, compose your message and send it. As all email arriving at your inbox through the LML has the LML address in the "From:" box, if you simply reply without modifying the "To:" box address in your reply eidtor your message will be sent as a standard LML message and go to its address for approval, just like any other LML posting. So, whenever you're sending a reply, just be sure to check which address is in your "To:" box before hitting the send button and it should go wherever it's pointed. Please remember, the email address for posting messages to the LML is lml@lancaironline.net. If you (or anyone else out there, for that matter) have any questions or need additional guidance about getting the most out of the LML with the least amount of pain please go to the LML website at www.lancaironline.net/maillist.html and select the "Users' Guide" option from the top of the menu on the left hand side of the page. There's a ton of useful info there and it's probably worthwhile to go back and revisit it every now and again, JIC there have been any significant changes in the operational status of the LML since the last time you were there. If you can't find an answer there regarding LML protocols, please feel free to send a message either to the LML or my private email address, and one way or another we'll attempt to address your issues. I hope this answers your question... we aim to please. Posted for RMiller904@aol.com: In a message dated 9/20/2006 3:40:18 A.M.
