The explanation I got from the factory was that the 9360 was a
newer (better?) formulation, and that after a while, Lancair was the only
customer for the older 9339. At some point it wasn't worth making it for
only one customer, so we were pushed over to the 9360. For what it's worth
. . .
On auto fuel, to me the biggest problem is that unless you
test every tankful, you have no way of knowing what's in auto gas. It
changes from dealer to dealer, region to region, and season to season.
(Have you smelled it lately? Whew!) Kinda like playing roulette with
your fuel.
