Get a copy of the San Francisco Terminal Area Chart.  The Bay tour is depicted on the back of the chart.

Except for the morning fog, the wx has been crystal clear lately.  As I recall, from Monterey you can join V-25 across the bay over Santa Cruz and fly north.  Contact NORCAL.  Tell us how it went.
