So most of the "new guys" didn't have to do anything but snap in the gas strut. Any of us could give you the exact attach point locations if you would like. The attach points are just drilled through the stiffener and door frame, but they've been beefed up with many layers of glass. My door opens easily and stops a little past vertical, with enough force to hold it up there when it's a little windy, but not too windy. Can you say guillotine?
