Before putting the top on, and with it upside down (although this can be done once the top is on as well), we put release tape around the window edges and put 3 BID around them. Then we popped them off and trimmed them. The interior shop I'm using will cover them in leather and has some idea on attaching them over the edge of the fabric that will be on the sidewalls and ceiling.
