Legacy builders and former builders, I'm working on my canopy, and understand that there have been problems with the front flexing upward due to strut force. Has anyone tried installing a second pair of canopy alignment plates and striker plates near the front to keep the canopy from bowing outward at the front? Is this overkill or necessary or would it cause a problem that I'm not considering? I haven't yet installed the plexiglass or struts. What additional stiffening have people done to the stiffener? Also, it appears my canopy skin doesn't fit perfectly, especially at the rear. What's the current method of fitting the skin? Splitting it into three or four pieces is mentioned on Don Barnes' site (www.lancairlegacy.com). Is this typical? Oh, and one other thing... since when has phone tech support no longer been provided by Lancair?? Thanks, - Kyrilian
