Performance Engines. Who has a Continental Engine (IO-550 or something close) build by PE that has over 1000 hours on it? How is it doing? I spoke with an A&P that said if you get a Continental I'm going to be replacing the cylinders at 600 hours. I wanted to see how the mods Performance Engines are doing are holding up and how well they are affecting engine life. 2. All Carbon Legacy Lancair has a Reno Racer kit that came available and was wondering if anyone knew how the all carbon kit would affect its useful load of the aircraft. I figure there has to be some extra strength there, but couldn't get any information on a ball park as to how much. Thanks for your help Kevin =20 =20 =20
