We have the same problem on racing sailboats where duct tape is used for
a
lot of things. The trick is simple. Get yourself a spray bottle or can
of
WD-40 and soak the areas lightly but thoroughly with the lubricant.  It
will melt the adhesive but should not affect the plexiglas whereupon you
merely wipe the gooey mess off with wet towels or better yet, cheese
cloth.   Then wash the surface with soap and water taking care to wipe
the
Plexiglas carefully with clean cheese cloth or terry cloth so as not to
scratch the surface.   Hope this helps.
