The 10,000 ft altitude limit of any of the Motion based systems is a SERIOUS limitation.  When the weather isn't great, I like to climb.  Then my weather detection equipment doesn't work...

Subject: [LML] VistaNav

Has anyone out there had any experience with Mercury Computer Systems' VistaNav portable MFD?  (http://www.mc.com/vistanav/)  I saw the unit for the first time at the Hillsboro Airshow this weekend and it looked pretty slick.  It costs more than a Garmin 396 ($4299, weather is a $650 option)  but has more features and if it lives up to its claims it would be worth it.  It would make one heck of backup system.  If you've had in-flight experience with the VistaNav I'd like to hear what you thought of it.
