There have been several posts about Lancair handling of sorts, and some wondering about its' stability.  In 15 years of flying my 235/320 here are my opinions.  Lancairs are fast,(the same engine in a C-172 is at least 40 kts slower); the laminar flow wing handles turbulence well, mine climbs at 1200 fpm at 140 kts & 75% power, it's sensitive in pitch  and builds speed rapidly on descent, it's a handful in a spin, I went from 5500' to 1900' in IMC in one before recovery, it stalls at about 65 kts with the wings held level, landings are a non-event if the plane is set up right, airspeed, trim, and flaps.  I still smile every time I take out my mystress N320J      Don Skeele  850-626-4946
