Follow-up on my MT propeller.  MT has contact both American Propeller
and myself and advised us to send the blades to their Florida overhaul
facility for inspection and overhaul.  Their chief engineer has assured
us that the blades are serviceable. We want to make absolutely sure and
are forwarding the blades.  Their response has been swift and
professional and American has been concerned and involved in making sure
that everything possible is being done to assure the propeller is
serviceable.

MT has indicated that with over 35000 blades in service, not one has
failed.  That is pretty impressive.  The jury is out on my blades, but
when this is completed I feel sure the prop will be serviceable.  Sue
and I were concerned about how we would feel about using a questionable
prop but are very appreciative of the efforts both MT and American
Propeller are making.  I think a thorough inspection and assurance from
MT that the prop is ok will alleviate the safety concerns.
