Tom Conners had just completed painting my plane. We
had finished putting it back together but somewhere
along the way, we got careless with putting the jacks
back into the overhead console. It was now time for
the first flight after paint but the radio wasn't
working.
To our rescue came a new avionics shop at the Bend
airport. To my surprise it is owned by the same
individual who built my panel at Lancair Avionics,
Tony Sustare. Tony built a fantastic panel for my
Legacy with a quality of work that is as good as you
will find anywhere. Two technicians stopped work on
what they were doing and went to work on my plane to
identify an fix the problems. I was up and running
within an hour and a half. I had a wire connection
broken on one audio jack and a broken Bose jack.
It was nice to have guys who knew my plane (the
Lancair product) stop what they were doing, treat me
right, and have me on my way so quickly.
If you need quality work done at a fair price I highly
recommend them.
They have a web site that is under construction that
you should check out. www.accuracyavionics.com
Check them out!
