on the idiot lights... who's De-Ice? are you sure you want Fadec? How
will the low fuel light be wired? three gear door up lights would offer
much more diag info than speed brakes and fuel pump lights that by
looking at the switch will tell you their state. How is the Emer batt
wired? also consider the old style gear down lights, one can move the
bulb from one to another in the air to insure its not a PPT or bulb
failure. how does the price of the idiot box compare to "idiot lights"?
why all the complex wiring for the flap position LEDs when you can look
out the window? There is an autopilot efis/gps source switch, but the
only gps I see is with the CFS, so what's the gps source? one sl30 can
send two VORs to CFS http://d2av.com/screen/cdi2.gif and one can monitor
two com freqs... (plus the CFS only supports one sl30).. so what's the
second sl30 for? perhaps the pma8000 so two people can talk on each
sl30 at the same time? if not, the mono pms4000 is half the costs. (heck,
it can do both sl30s too). or might you want a sl40 for a second gps? The
sorcerer is also very cool, but for $4k less money the DigiFlight II VSGV
can do everything but steer the plane via ILS/VOR. oh, I see the headset
plugs on the right, but what about the left? what switches do you have on
the stick? you went to the expense of a third TV screen just for engine,
did you consider a third CFS head that can do engine data and flight
data? where are the cabin light dinners pots? I don't see an avionics
switch, when do all the TV screens come on?
if you got this far, I have another pet peeve.. those cheap cessna
split masters. while they insure the battery is there to excite the alt
prior to the field getting energized, they restrict a failure mode I
experienced at SnF.. One of my battery's shorted.. I could cross tie to
energize the second alt, but couldn't disconnect the battery because of
the switch.. my choices were to have one or both alts heating up a dead
battery, or run the aircraft like a cessna: one battery, one alt.
separate field and battery switches would have fixed that. (or pulling
the battery relay ground wire from the switch).

that's a function of the GPS, not the type of screens...
> add an Angle of Attack.
the CFS has a software generated audible stall warning and pitch
limit barb.
