Rich Stowell conducts/ed unusual attitude recovery training, = and this might be something right down his alley. It would be best, = also, if the training is conducted in the plane normally flown. As the = military says, "We fight as we are trained". I've noticed also that most = of the airports I've flown from have a parallel taxiway suitable for = landing, or even a 90 deg runway off the end, as at SMX. It's often = smooth, too, on the land between taxiway and runway.
