at standard temp and pressure, i.e. density altitude indicated airspeed.
 With an AOA you just watch the marked angle --usually in degrees.  The stall
ANGLE doesn't change.
    You don't have to be thinking '... what do I weigh now?", or "what's the
true airspeed', or "'what's the G-meter say this instant', and '... is my CG
aft or forward?.." and so on.
 ANGLE is such simple, cheap safety.
