Hi Bo,
I own and fly a Lancair 360 and am currently installing a S-Tec System 30
2-axis autopilot. And NO, you don't need to cut the wing skins to install
this system. The roll servo mounts underneath the passenger side seat pan
and the pitch servo mounts on the side of the elevator pushrod tunnel behind
the seats. You will need to purchase S-Tec's Lancair hardware install kit
and it comes complete with everything you'll need to install their system
(sans fiberglass stuff). Also comes with blueprints and instructions.
