I just read about the Airbus problem.  I for one, painted fuel tank sealer every place the hydraulic lines go.  The main reason was in case of a leak, it wouldn't soak into the prepreg and would be easy to clean up.  After reading about the Airbus, I'm extra glad that I did it now.
