Unfortunately, it seems to have a proprietary single plug for connecting
external phones and mic. Does anyone have an ICOM headphone/mic adapter
they're not using and would like to sell?

If you want to build your own, it is easy. The plugs are available from
Ken's Electronics (www.kenselectronics.com/lists/audio). CR30-701 for
straight and CR30-702 for right angle. A year ago they were $4.20 for
either one.
