Great idea painting the inside area around the hydraulics.  I wish I had done it
since I once had a line come apart under pressure and make a mess.  Trouble is
you will probably never get your fingers to the bottom of the center console
where goop collects without taking a lot of stuff apart.  Some of you probably
can't get your center push tube out for instance.  One idea is to try to
compartment the floor area so that if you have a spill, it is contained.
