In this case the guy was "shining his ass". They are going back months to dig up things that he is suppose to have done. How do they know he was exceeding the 200 kt speed limit? Did someone have a radar gun at the ball game? This is not a case of an overhead traffic pattern. Hamid was comparing uncertified parts to the original discussion. Apples and oranges. I already brought up Bob Hoover's case. I expect that if a Fed, of the type that pulled Hoover certificate, saw you or me or anyone do something he he/she personally didn't approve of, could think up a whole list of things to charge you or me or anyone with.
