Which IVPT? I have a 601E with low pressure bleed option. The bleed is routed directly from the bleed valve to a tee. One side of the tee is routed to hot side of the mix valve. The other side of the tee is routed through two intercoolers to the cold side of the mix valve. Temperature of the bleed air is easily controlled. We do have electric air conditioning for ground use. The two intercoolers lower the low bleed down to almost ambient conditions in flight. At first we ran the bleed through the first intercooler to the hot side then through the second cooler to the cold side. We froze at altitude. The present setup works great.
