Door seal pump issue I want to throw = out to=20 everyone.
My pressurization is not completely = sealed up yet,=20 but sometimes I need to "pressurize" to get cabin heat etc.
I will fly around unpressurized at = 12,000, door=20 seal pump on at engine start.  During the course of the flight, the = door=20 seal pump light will rarely, if ever come on.
Here is what happens when I = "pressurize"=20 -
after a few minutes at altitude, the = door seal pump=20 light comes on and stays on.  I pull the breaker, light of course = goes out=20 indicating pump off now.  I do not loose the door seal because = there=20 is no increase in noise at whatsoever and I can hear the door seal = deflate=20 after I land.  I am assuming = that the seal=20 is staying inflated during flight because of the one way valve that is=20 installed.
Any ideas why the "little bit" of = pressurization I=20 am maintaining would cause the door deal pump to want to come on and = stay=20 on?
I checked with my avionics shop, = Aerotronics out of=20 Billings MT, (best group in the world by the way) and the light = that=20 indicates the pump is on is wired such that it will only = illuminate=20 when the pump is in fact on.
