Bill etal,
I had the opportunity to see one of the prototype seats while @ builders
assist in Oct (along with Mike Easely). Certainly impressive/clean looking.
The (non-technical) reason that mounting/adjuster rails are a different
spacing that the std/old seats is that they are "outboard" of the seat frame
to minimize the height (maximize the energy foam thickness). The std/old
seats have the adjusters "under" the frame.
